My well connected classmate told me this morning that "footprint" is the word of the day. To me, this is entirely hearsay, and I cannot attest to its basis in fact. We'll see what happens..

There is one program that, at least in the last decade, keeps making terrible hiring decisions. They don't worry about anyone stealing their coaches because their coaches aren't great and are usually fired in some spectacular fashion.
I assume that is one of the schools you are referring to as blue chip that doesn't worry about other schools stealing their coaches.

Right! Del Conte was in Omaha. If Schloss was leaving, I would just assume he wouldn't fly home with the team.
And people are allowed to wear non school afgiliated clothing, especially in the off season while flying.

Look at almost any program rankings and the top 3 are USC/Lsu/ut with each having a debatable reason
USC -most titles ever
LSU -most dominant past 20 yrs
tu - most cws appearance and 2nd most title.

If he's staying, why would a meeting be needed? Those details of matching whatever the offer is should already be worked out, no?
I would love for him to stay, but I won't lose any sleep if he goes. I'm guessing he stays.

I was concerned last night because whenever I have seen people accused of something (Ex: cheating on their spouse or taking drugs)....the ones that get angry are often the ones doing it! Those that aren't guilty typically don't get so offended.
I am worried Schloss got so angry because he is really considering it. (But could be he was upset last night due to the gut wrenching loss)
I really hope that 12Diamond guy that says 100% Schloss is staying is correct. I am sure he will say I am just being obtuse again.
