Will a weather delay make the game viewable on a channel other than ESPN+?

In that case, I kinda hope it gets delayed.

That would seem to make it even more unlikely. No offense but how can a college baseball fan not have ESPN+?
Because I already pay $100+ for a cable subscription and I'm not going to pay $11 the one Ag game that I have time to watch.
This is a bad choice, but to each their own.

I despise ESPN, but the next two weeks for $11 its two weekends of college baseball from noon to midnight. I will set up a few TVs and watch baseball. Additionally, as many have mentioned their show going from game to game is also great and will be on one of my screens.

The key is to cancel it after next Sunday's game. You still get the month of service for anything else and check the schedule to do the same thing for football, if you are not at the game that goes to ESPN+.

Because if you only watch the Aggies, or the SEC in general, then all the baseball games were on SEC network+ (which comes with most tv subscriptions).

Either that or start and play as long as possible then delay

They are showing lighter rain at noon now

If ours gets delayed into late afternoon/early evening, can't second game start as late as 10:59pm?

So appears at this point, likely game gets delayed.

So how does that work exactly? Will they push everything forward but keep the order?

Or could they reschedule our game and end up letting Texas play as scheduled (assuming weather clears 4pm or so).

Sure hope it is a push for everyone. Love for sips to start play very late 2nite. Schloss would get absolute credit for making one hell of a decision to play the early game and basically better control/influence the schedule.

Damn excited. Shutting down our biz at noon or thats the plan. This team needs to come out for Game 1 and validate their world beating status of mid season.

I would guess they play G1 first, but we could be ****ed by TV, because sips are scheduled for ESPN2 national broadcast.

And given that the sips are the sips...

The schedule remains the same. If game1 is pushed back, so is game 2. No game jumps another.

If you had ESPN+ you would have time, because you could have had every game on in the background while you were doing other things...

I say 3 PM start reason being future radar shows no rain from roughly 1015 until one thirtyish then the rain picks up again Until roughly 230 and then clear there after. I don't think slash wants to start the game and then stop it with an hour plus delay in the middle, but we shall see.

Would be good for them to make call one way or the other for folks traveling in crappy weather. Start at noon and deal with what comes or start at 4. Shouldn't be that complicated.

No. The games will be played in order. Home team has the option whether to play game 1 or game 2. TV cannot overrule that.

Maybe Slash simply wants to get G1 finished as early as possible so he can get some extra guitar practice in this evening.

They may try to avoid stopping and starting to some extent, but if they have what looks like a 2 hour window where they can be fairly certain of playing, I suspect they would go ahead and start, They have to get 18 innings in, at a minimum, some time during the course of the day, and if that means it's not 2 uninterrupted stretches of 9 innings, so be it..

I think the bigger issue at noon is going to be lightning. Storms are supposed to be isolated but who knows about the lightning.

I think we either start on time with a possible lightning delay early on our we didn't start until after 3.

They killed 2 conferences.

Phantom PI and unneccessary roughness penalites.

They have a special unsportsmanlike penalty set aside for mocking them.

Nah, they have no influence.

Turf absolutely sucks.

We definitely need to resurface Olsen though. The drainage ain't what it was 5 or 6 years ago.

The crew did amazing, but the system needs an overhaul.

There were lakes in the OF. When the system was new, there was no standing water.

Even 3 years ago after moderate rains there were ponds in the OF.

The future radar has changed dramatically since my last post.right now. It shows clear from roughly 10 o'clock for the rest of the day, so who knows what's going on?

Yes. Yes it will.

Texas should drive home and start getting ready. We will be there shortly. Really. Trust us. We are right behind you.
