Holman was a righty. He wasn't hitting from either side in his mini slump. He was hitting above .300 all season from both sides but he really fell off from the right in his mini slump. He does have more power from the left as well as a better average. But he still generates power and most of the season, average and obp, from the right. I wouldn't always go according to Hoyle either when it comes to Monty but there is support for doing it.
