I wish we wouldn't panic when we get 2 strikes. Those were 3 awful swings for strikeouts. If Gavin was left handed that ball may have gone behind him. He has struggled with that breaking ball away for strike 3 all year and it's just because he panics a bit. He just needs to trust himself more. Hopefully it comes with experience.
He flat makes up his mind he's swinging. Doesn't matter where the pitch is. He's way better than that.

Because it looks like a strike coming out of his hand. That is why he has a sub 3 era and is probably the 2nd best starter in the SEC.
