Really weird deal. As a soph I had tons of confidence in him. He's just lost now. Almost not fair for him to get thrown into this one.
Crushes the fb. Doesn't see nearly as many now, especially not late in the count. I kinda wish he'd sit fb on the first pitch and go into ambush mode if it's there. I don't want the whole team doing that but it might be helpful for him to get a pitch he can handle better. He's not hitting this guy's curve unless it's a very bad mistake.
Definitely used to smoke fastballs.
