Historic regression = Targac. Never seen someone stare at perfect pitches to swing at garbage more than he has this season. Really sad because he was a stud 2 years ago. No comment on his fielding prowess at either 2B or 1B.

I did just have an old fashioned that was fantastic.
They use it in some AAA games, and from what I've heard it isn't perfected. I was watching a college game (don't remember who), and they were talking about a game Skenes had pitched at AAA. Apparently you're allowed some number of challenges to the robot's calls. Skenes had challenged successfully multiple times in one game.Quote:

Because the strike zone is not a flat plane, also differences in players height. They are working on the technology and is being used in minor league ball. I think it will be awhile before it ever gets to college ball.Redfishag93 said:

Glad we got 3 when we did. His ERA is like 2.43.
Quicker we get him out, the better. At the current rate, he'll be out by the 4th or so. Hope they make him work next inning.
