For the record, I like Lampkin and see potential. But if we're being honest he has rarely risen to the occasion and he gets run early and often. If he keeps learning from Prager then maybe he'll develop into a SEC starter, but it's the glaring hole in our team and we need to experiment with some other guys on Sunday until he can find better stuff. Just like we've done at 2nd base.

I was thinking this same thing. Lamkin has been iffy and, even though we won last Sunday, I was worried that, if we hadn't won both yesterday, today would be a challenge to take the series due to Lamkins unreliability. I know we all wanna sweep, but man I don't like our Sunday rubber match ability. Already got us on a bad position today to come back from.

Josh Stewart is a big time arm. He's going to be a starter in the next 2 years. What you are seeing is not his floor nor ceiling. He's got a special arm.

Wansing so far has 1 appearance and it was like 12-15 pitches on a tuesday game and it looked pretty shaky, I think hes a long way off still
Stewart started a few Sundays last year as an opener. Wouldn't surprise me if we tried that again. He can get you through an order once. Sdao, Morton, or Moss might could do the same.
