Any SEC win on the road is huge. Winning an SEC series (already locked up) on the road is huge. Sweeping conference teams on the road is extremely difficult, even the "bad" teams like Mizzou. Just ask Florida (0-2 on the weekend and trail 7-4 in game 3).

Agreed too much focus can be placed on the negatives. I will say by the numbers Jace is in a small slump, but it's not that big a deal.

But he had two hits yesterday and smoked that ball his last at bat. He hasn't hit home runs, but he is still stinging the ball consistently. I mean everyone would like for him to hit like he did the first few weeks of the season, but we aren't facing cupcake pitching like we did in the non-conference.
I do agree that at some this point he will go on a tear and hit a lot of bombs though.

This is what happens when we have a good Aggie sports team. Lots of people that don't understand the sport jump on the bandwagon and then think the sky is falling over one game, a game that isn't even over. For my money this is the best sports board on TexAgs, hope it stays that way
