these pitchers aren't Tuesday pitchers.

Which is part of the problem. Hard for a weekend high leverage guy used to being yelled at by 5000 people to lock in for a nothing team with no pressure and limited crowd energy. Happens all the time in MLB too.

Glad we had a 6 run cushion in the ninth. Would have been bad if we needed those bases loaded outs. No harm no foul. Good win.

Perry and Stewart were probably expecting not to have to go tonight. It's hard to change gears when that is already your mindset. And Stewart did what he had to once the shut out was lost.

Every pitcher we threw except maybe the starter Jackson were weekend/travel guys. And Jackson threw fine. Rudis and Sdao did well.

And I'm not worried about Stewart. Sean is right about midweek focus against a scrub. Just saying these weren't "tryout" guys. Except Jackson. Didn't get to the tryout guys. But that's alright. We'll be ready Thursday.

Quit griping over these games. Every top end team has a few of them on their schedule especially in the midweek. If week take care of business it does not matter in the long run.
