I have decent doubts Moss leaves. The guy has a 60-70 Grade hit tool, but below average in every other category. For the guy to only hit 4 HRs in his draft year while limited to 1B or DH is not great in the eyes of the MLB. The mold of a great college player, but not really someone big league clubs look at due to his limitations.

Targac was ranked in the Top 10 2B headed into the year. His draft stock tanked this season. Hopefully if he comes back he can forget this season happened and get back to his old self.

Personally, I'm ready for Werner to move on whether he is drafted or not.

Time to move beyond Warner and Targac. I'd like to see Moss return with more muscle. He doesn't run well enough to hit in the top 3, so develop some power and move to the 5 or 6 hole as a passable 1B.

I've seen the kid a bit. He's a real good prospect. Draft might depend on conversations with teams about what it would take to sign him.
Kid went from being a top 10 pitching prospect last year to not being draft in the first 7 rounds and still undrafted. Must have told the scouts he didn't want to play pro ball or had a horrible camp.

I know Alabama had to fire their coach for gambling, maybe our new pitching coach needs to head down to Porter and talk to the kid. I wouldn't mind a LHP throwing 98+ coming out of the bullpen

Several of his family members deleted their social media accounts too, think there is something else going on. Asking higher than his worth would be a good way to not get signed

If this relationship holds (no reason to think it won't), both daughters will be married to D-I athletes. Son in law 1 played football for Arkansas (masters in mechanical engineering from A&M where he met our daughter.) Now potential son in law 2 is off to the D-Backs.
