Until last night, I hadn't missed a conference home game in a decade, but my son (Aggie class of '23) talked me into going to Des Moines to watch the Ags in basketball. So I sold my tickets to an Aggie family on the TexAgs exchange forum. It is very easy to do. My guess is that most Aggies do this. I'm guessing it's the brokers who jack up the price and either leave seats open or have visiting fans like LSU buy them up. No evidence to back that up, but just a guess.

When you're throwing 100mph strikes all night, mowing guys down, the crowd is not going to have a lot of opportunities to get fired up.
We were into the late innings before we had our second batter get an extra base hit.
If you're not getting guys on base and into scoring position, there are few opportunities to get rowdy for any significant length of time.
I still believe, though. Let's bounce back today and set up a huge first Sunday in SEC play.

In the past it has been all fastball with him, which sits mid-90s (I believe he has hit 98 but can't remember for sure), but he had trouble with consistency on his off-speed pitches. Last year if he could locate his change up, he was pretty dangerous but that wasn't very often. So far this year it looks like has has resolved those issues but we haven't seen it against SEC hitting yet so it is kind of TBD.
The biggest knock on him is he tends up to be HR prone more than others on staff. If the wind is as consistent today as it was yesterday, it should help him.
I've been known to sit in the back yard with a laptop and watch Aggie baseball. Today will NOT be one of those days. Current wind chill is 9F. Were supposed to have sun today, but we have flurries right now.
