The A&M softball team was swept by No. 6 Florida last weekend at Davis Diamond. On Wednesday, head coach Jo Evans and select A&M players met with the media discuss this weekend's three-game series at Mizzou.

Gave up 8 runs, only 3 earned, in game 2 on only 5 hits. For the first time I don't think we are going to make the NCAA tournament. We need to win 3 of our remaining 9 regular season games to have a winning record and I don't think we can do it. Missing an infield fly because the fielders don't communicate is lack of preparation, and not preparing is coaching.

Swept again. 2 shutouts 8-0 & 4-0. 3-15 in conference.

6 conference games left probably won't win another conference game this season!

With interim AD, RC Slocum, Jo is safe this year. But, l'll say this... Even RC's and Mark Johnson weren't safe, when the "Big Cigars" got restless.
