After trailing 2-1 for most of the afternoon and down to their final out, the Aggies pounced on a Longhorn error to force a tie and an extra frame. Texas quickly duplicated A&M's fortunes, scoring the decisive run on an Aggie throwing error in the eighth and ending A&M's season.

With two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, Kristen Cuyos hit an RBI single up the middle to give the Aggies the win and their first walk-off win in the new Davis Stadium. Samantha Show tossed a shutout in the circle to keep A&M in the game.

Trinity Harrington improved to 10-1 on the season with a dominant shutout of the visiting Gamecocks. The senior pitcher scattered four hits and one walk over seven innings, striking out five.
