No, it will not count when calculating opponent's winning %. Neither do wins or losses count there.

It will count as half a win for calculating our winning % and when our opponents' opponents' win percentage is calculated.

It is going to pull down our winning % and assuming Missouri finishes above .500, pull their's down. Its ultimately not a good thing for either of us.

Tennessee's RPI situation is becoming interesting to watch.

Looks great at #7. Overall record looks good at 21-8.

but only 3-6 in the league...and their best series win is against #35 Indiana.

next up State and then Georgia. The Vols need to get a quality series win or two on their resume

and #85 TCU (17-9) is on the other end of the spectrum.

the Frogs are 3-3 in the Big 12 with a top 20 series win vs. the horns and nice neutral site win over Vandy.

but TCU has major SoS problems. Overall SoS #113. Non-conference SoS #196.

scheduling weekend series vs. #251 Long Beach and #268 Eastern Michigan is hurting. And a series vs. #221 Seton Hall is still to come

I'll let Lance do the official Monday RPI update, but as a teaser I'll let you know Aggie fans will smile a little when they see today's rankings. Going 2-2 on the road last week with all 4 games being vs. top 20 RPI teams looks very good in the computer's eyes.

Now...if our bullpen/defense hadn't gacked up Friday night's game at LSU...

Yep. The best thing about being in the SEC is it is all up to us. We do not have to chase rpi, sos, or worry what other teams do. Just need to win the games on our schedule. We are in complete control of our destiny.

I was mostly joking. Gonzaga and South Carolina both fell out of the top 50 this week which cost us a bunch of top 50 wins. That's probably the main reason we dropped.
