Well said, I'm a former Aggie baseball player, had season tickets, for 20 years, in section 105, missed a total of 9 home games in those 20 years, only missed 2 football, and 4 basketball..
Was an Endowed football donor, and season basketball ticket holder, but couldn't handle all the 12th Man, and athletic dept BS anymore........all the efforts to appease, at any cost, the big-money guys.
Left College Station 2 months ago, as Roberto Duran so eloquently said, "No mas."
Sad.

And this is the perfect example why taking seats away from longtime loyal season ticket holders for prime suite seating is bad business in the long run. You risk running off what would otherwise be inelastic demand.
Somebody who has had season tickets for 20 years will buy the same season tickets for the next 20 years through the good times and bad times. As we're seeing in football, the Johnny come latelys will buy up tickets when the team is winning, but they are also the first to leave when there's a subpar season.
Also, you can build premium suites and seating with premium services in the new section that will be built where the third base berm is located. The view is fine over there and people who buy those seats put a priority on amenities anyway.
So there is a clear option to provide another revenue stream for A&M w premium style seating in an area where they aren't kicking out long-time season ticket holders. That's a win-win. If they do what they did last time, there will be more season ticket holders that will be fed up like K-Man and will never come back.
Hopefully, new management will see that they can still get the extra money from new premium seating in berm area as opposed to uprooting season ticket holders once again.
