Obviously the only course of action is to always drop the ball on the transfer if runners can tag & go.

Nvm. Somebody already made my point.

Florida baseball might be the only team at their school that has not won a championship. Looks like their average attendance was around 4,400 per game this year
Haha, I was going to post that as one of the reasons our attendance isn't what it is some other places (though I think it's still top 10-15), but I thought it would sound like a humble brag.
We haven't won one in CC, men's tennis, volleyball (even though they have I think seven final fours), lacrosse which is new this decade, and women's basketball.

It is a stigma on the baseball team, but in the spring In particular the competition for attention on campus is tough. At one point this spring all nine of our teams were ranked top ten and I think six we're ranked top five. They just aren't anything special comparatively when surrounded by that. Add summer weather in gainesville in a stadium with no cover (Which they are working on), Gainesville being a relatively small town, and a product right now with no offense, you get where we are.

Gainesville's MSA is actually slightly larger than Bryan-College Station, and both are larger than several SEC towns. I think it's the other reasons. Not trying to be critical, but just offering an opinion.

There have been some rumors that O'Sullivan is not happy with the situation in Gainesville (I guess with regard to facilities and/or attendance), and have connected him with the South Carolina job.

Didn't take it as critical, but UF's attendance is that only 400 or sobelow A&M. Ours isn't great but it isn't terrible either. Just should be better based on our sustained success, even without a title.
As far as Sully, Foley gave him a golden package on his way out last year, he is getting pretty much all the upgrades he had asked for.
The rumors about him leaving are apparently tied to personal reasons that would draw him back to SC, but the main Gainesville Sun best writer said he isn't leaving. However if that's the reason and he chooses to, no hard feelings and wish him luck. Personal stuff comes first.
