This game was an example of our two biggest holes, the bullpen and strikeouts. It will be interesting to see if we can figure out who we can trust in big spots, right now I don't trust anyone out of the pen.

Sadly you could see it coming. The HP umpire was going to do whatever it took.

don't be obtuse. Technically this was just one regular season game. Practically it was a game against a team that has owned us for three years, and we needed this game.Aggies2009 said:
Had we won this, people would've complained that it was only the regular season. But since we lost it, suddenly it was the most important game ever.
If the wife can't pop out some giant tits of her own......the problem is yours, my friend.aggietony2010 said:dixichkn said:
And we posted tits for THAT
At least maybe we can have sfw game threads now. Nothing like browsing a gamethread next to your wife and having giant tits pop up

Typical Childress team. Mental weakness.
Mental weakness? Bases loaded no outs and we get out of the jam....and you want to say mental weakness? Get out of here dude
Exactly. Childress is TCU's *****. Again.dixichkn said:

And intellectually, I realize this, which is why I never said it before, but emotionally, I blame him, because it's frustrating to be attached to the team and see him make consistently similar coaching decisions over several seasons that lead to outcomes like this. And I get that it's one game out of a season, but it doesn't feel like it's just one game.

I understand and agree that the pitching change to start the 9th was a head scratcher at best. I just don't get all the doom and gloom when we still have conference play and a whole season moving forward. This game has no bearing on how we perform later in tje season and God willing, the postseason.
Agreed. It's a nonconference "classic" game. Sucks it ended that way but it's far from hang-yourself-from-the-oak-tree stuff. Would be kinda nice to just solidly kick their ass just one time but in the grand scheme, we've got an equally big game in about 14 hours. Get some sleep and beat that Baylol ass tomorrow. Onward.Aggies2009 said:Sea Pony 07 said:

I don't usually say this, but I put the blame for this game 100 percent on childress.
And you'd be wrong. It was a lot of things.

Your RC defending crusade just looks ridiculous st this point. As I've always said his teams are mentally weak and tonight was just more evidence to that fact. He isn't going to ever win a game in Omaha because his teams lack the mental fortitude to get there.
Martin pitches the 9th...Ags win...plain and simple.Rodney Farva said:
Just got back from MM, **** that sucked... Still not sure why Martin was ever taken out or why kolek was allowed to throw, what seemed like, 12 balls in a row.. Whatever, but it seemed pretty clear the Ags were done after the 9th..
