When you get a routine ground ball with 2 outs and its not a flip for a force just throw it to first. Ball Game...

You look at the hitter at the plate. Been putting the barrel on the ball well all day, plus looked like he wanted to have nothing to do with bunting the ball on his 4 attempts. With 2 strikes and the count even, put on a little bit and run or something. Homan can handle the bat well enough

When Choruby should actually be bunting, he grounds into a game ending double play!! I don't understand having one of your hottest hitters bunting with 2 strikes in homan, and then we let a guy with hardly any extra base power swing away. However, if Homan gets the bunt down, and choruby gets on and Moss hits a double, then its a genius call. Poor execution in a pressure situation.

Worst game in awhile. Poor pitching, poor fielding, Cant hold leads. Poor decision by coach to not start Ecker in 8th. That at bat bunt shows we dont practice or implement small ball to the degree needed. We are quickly finding that our very deep pitching staff is really 2 guys (as far as relievers and closers). Not going to get it done.
So frustrating. How do we expect to get to Omaha let alone win the World Serries if we can't even win game in the SEC tournament.

I never said they told him to bunt over his head. I said he was doing what his coach likely said, which is bunt.
Most of the former players on here are really nice guys who help explain the game to us on here who enjoy watching it. You, on the other hand, seem to be the complete opposite of that. You have a holier than thou, infallible attitude when it comes to these game threads. You constantly put down other posters and are, in my opinion, a really bad representative of aggie baseball players, current and former.
