But why compare Buzz and Mack as if it is choice between the two?

I wish Buzz would've stayed. But he is gone.

I personally feel like this is an opportunity to go out on a limb and hire a young "up and comer" who has something to prove. Even one with no head coaching experience- like Luke Murray.

Mack is not that kind of guy.

HOWEVER - could he fit the Bruce Pearl mold - someone brought back in from "the winderness" for another chance?

That might be the most we can hope for.

Regardless, we will have to patient for next couple of years.

Really good run at Xavier. Took them to the tournament 8 of 9 years including having them as a 1 seed in his final year.

I'm not sure his 4 seasons at Louisville are fair to judge him by given he started well in his first 2 season, then went off the tracks after COVID and being extorted.

We need someone who mostly only posts on the entertainment board to get over here and say they heard from an industry source that (coach) was filming a promotional video to announce the hire.

She might have known something that wasn't true, which is knowing negative information. Less than nothing!

WendyB is Mack's cousin and got him a raise.

Legit question for ya, what are your thoughts on Drew Valentine? Gregg Kampe and Izzo speak very highly of him and he's a name people in the industry say is going to get a shot at a big program someday soon.
