Without Sam Gilbert UCLA would never have been a blue blood to begin with. They paid Wooden peanuts. Took forever to update that dungeon Pauley Pavilion, and then the update took years.

So looks like Barnes is staying at Tennessee. I guess Cronin is back in, after watching UCLA unsuccessfully pursue other candidates it likes better.

Well, yeah, but if the last kid picked for Kickball gets paid a $24 million contract, then I'd gladly volunteer to be the last guy picked. Cronin probably doesn't give a hoot that he was like their 5th choice, he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Cronin bled everything he could out of that program. Will be interesting what Mick can do with talent. I wish he would've stayed at Cincinnati. The tournament issue are so overblown. Until this season Cronin was recruiting to an awful gym. And even still was the 49h paid coach with a budget in the 60s. I'd say nine straight tournaments isn't a bad thing.

That coaching changes handle is hell on earth. Even when there's decent conversation from some who have the password to tje account, it's largely horrific takes and bogus sniping from bitter has beens or a group of "never was'" that speak with such arrogance.
