It sucks, but most refs aren't going to call a foul at the end of the game. It's called swallowing the whistles.
I can't understand why Coach Knight was always saying how bad he felt the refs in NCAA basketball are.
That's what happens when you are the #1 seed. But what killed us was missed FTs and 5 points in 10 minutes.
Half of their "blocks" were clear fouls, yet we'd get called for anything on the other end.
The refs + UCLA make a pretty good combo. There is no way we lose that game if it was called right.

Oh, but according to you...it was our team's shortcomings that lost it and not the refs. This picture typifies how the game was called in the second half. We played our asses off and got mugged and hosed in the second half.

In that case, why were we called for a foul late in the game against Memphis in the sweet 16 last year? Didn't they win the game at the free throw line?
That was definitely a foul but I doubt Sloan makes both of the free throws. Sorry, but I'm feeling extra negative about Aggie sports right now.

Georgetown won a game on FTs because of a MUCH LESS OBVIOUS foul 90 feet from the basket!
Hell, we lost to Memphis last year on a foul called with less than 2 seconds left.
Stanford got into OT today because of a FT with less than 10 seconds left.
