My mouth was watering over some of the Arturo Fuentes, Padrons, La Gloria Cubanas, and Partagas some of y'all posted pics of on here. I'm pretty sure I've had all of those in the last 20-25 years, but mostly 15 years or more ago.

After a long layoff, I smoke 3-5 cigars a day now since I'm cutting down on the number of cigarettes I'm smoking, and puffing on a stogie is pleasing. I'm buying lower end minis such as Excaliber, Macanudos, and Romeo and Juliet, or slightly larger Macanudos cigarillos. They're not great, but they're definitely not terrible either. I can afford the others, but usually stay on the cheapskate side quite a bit.

Since I found this forum I'll have to splurge a little every now and again maybe asking some of y'all before purchasing, since I'm not remembering the specific stogies I bought years ago.

Btw Irish2.0., a cigar is definitely good after an Ags win in baseball, or after a series win. Then again, I'm not real picky and will probably be celebrating after a football win too. Gig 'em!

Perdomos are fantastic

My favorite is the Lot 23 but a great everyday stick is their Slow Aged Lot 826.

They only run about $4-5 per stick but they're great mild smooth smokes. I keep a box in my humidor for when it starts getting hotter outside. Perfect summer golf smoke.

I really enjoy the Espinosa Habano too. It is one of my regulars and I often give it to people to try that are interested in trying something with a little more body than a Connecticut

Of course it was for that. In what universe did you think it was okay to post a naked man spreading open his butt cheeks on our platform?

Going to have to start following this thread.

I currently have ~380 cigars in my standup humidor. Almost all are Maduros.

I have around 6-8 boxes of Cubans from my days of traveling back and forth from the UK. I'd have to say the Cubans are generally not worth the price, but it's not as if the good Padrons are much cheaper. It seems like the Cubans of the last decade have noticeably dropped in quality.

Just finished a Deadwood Girl with No Name and the first two from the box would not burn at all. I had to keep lighting the outside of the cigar to smoke it (forget lighting the end). The ash wouldn't drop off because the tobacco just wouldn't burn. One in a box could just be a bad roll, but two consecutive bad cigars might be a bad batch. Have to see how it goes for the rest of the box.

Padrons have to be my favorites, but I've got a lot of other types that are good smokes. Had a Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 Maduro last night which was excellent as usual.

Another cigar I like that is no longer sold is the Drew Estates Natural (or Larutan) Irish Hops. Other good ones (off the top of my head) are Arturo Fuente Hemingway Maduros, La Flor Dominicano Triple (or Double) Ligeros, in addition to the Cubans.

I'll be interested in any other opinions out there to try to stay at the cutting edge (or burning end?) of the good stogies that are out there.

All I keep in my humidor is Padron 1964 exclusivo Maduros and Padron 1926 90 Anniversary Maduro. I agree with you on Cubans. Trying all the big brand names I always kept coming back to Padrons. In my opinion they are the best cigars out there.

I discovered CigarBid.com about 15 years ago and kept winning auctions at 50 cents on the dollar. I couldn't figure out why I was winning so much. I was up to about 8 humidors until I started cutting back. I have about 31 different types right now and down to the single upright.

My Padrons are:
Family Reserve No. 45 Maduro
1926 Serie No. 1 Maduro (Churchill)
1926 Serie No. 2 Torpedo Maduro
1964 Anniversaro Imperial Maduro
1926 Serie No. 35 Robusto Maduro
1964 Monarco Maduro

Although I trend towards the longer length cigars, the No. 35 Robusto (4") is great when you don't have much time and want to fit one in.
