Nice! The eye candy alone at Barnett is worth making the trip up but the good wines are a bonus! On the Behrens trip, will you be tasting Relic? Oh, and make sure the hostess at Behrens pours some Drinkward Peschon. It is quality stuff!
Had a 2009 Termes Numanthia yesterday at Salt Lick. The $30 child of Numanthia is pretty nice.
Four of these will be arriving on my doorstep tomorrow. I know a lot of you people have no love for Texas wine, but this one is a gem (IMHO).

BSD: I ordered my Rivers-Marie also. Which is your favorite? I got 2 of each, Silver Eagle, Occidental Ridge, Gioia and Summa. I'm not on the Schrader list, but have had the 05 To Kalon...FTW!

I like all of the pinots, and at $25 each the Sonoma coast is legit! My favorite wine from this release, however, is the Chardonnay.
Drank a 09 Zepaltas Syrah and a 1997 Canoe Ridge cab from Washington. I'm starting to prefer Wash. cabs more and more.

My latest kick is Barolo...and by latest I mean just started...one night last week, we went through 2 bottles.
The first was uninspiring, but the second was Damilano, " Le Cinquevigne", 2007...quite good, but probably could have standed to decant a bit longer.

We went to Ken Wright today and tasted a total of 13 wines. Not too shabby.
Which was your favorite? I love Willamette Valley Pinots.
The boyfriend had the pinots. I had the flight from one of his other labels. There were 2 blends and 2 Syrahs in what I tasted. We are going to try to go to more wineries this year. Most of them around here are only about an hour away.
Just ordered Maze cabernet (Napa) and Stone the Crows cabernet (Three Twins vineyard in the hills of Napa). Passed on Corra as the shipping was $40 for a single bottle and I can get it in Houston at list price.
Next week is Vine Hill Ranch cab and Myriad syrahs. Realm single vineyards will release the following week.

I typically drink them 5-8 years after the vintage date.

My Pott wines are on their way! 750s, magnums, and double magnums! Pott is some of the best juice in Napa in my opinion.
