Anyone tried Milam & Green (blanco). The bottle I got is pretty damn good. Now, I think it's mostly blends that are hand selected so maybe not truly "Texas bourbons"

looking at the website mix of sourced blends, contract distillation, and stuff distilled there. I've heard good things about he higher end stuff but never felt an inclination to drop that much money to try it.

I have a few bottles on hand that I like quite a bit. Bonus that it's a lady distiller.

We've had a few tastings with them and I've really enjoyed it.

What does this mean

They seemed unsure about what MGP was, so I was providing a point of reference. Nobody makes more bourbon than MGP for the premium market, and a lot of smaller brands source from them until their own distillate is up and running

For within $10 of MSRP today I saw EHT SmB, EHT SiB, ECTB, BT Koshers, Blanton's, W107. I also saw GB Guadalupe for $139. I didn't buy all of them by any stretch, but it was a good hour looking.

They also had GTS for 700, Stagg Jr. for 200

Four different spots around town. Including a specs.

Pick up a bottle of JT Meleck this afternoon at a local store called Bootleggers in Corpus. Highly recommend stopping by if you live on the southside. It's a new store so they don't have the greatest selection but it is pretty decent and the owner? is really friendly. They did have a bottle of WT Generations on the shelf which was pretty cool.

As far as the booze goes, its pretty damn good and different. I'd put it on the same tier as Balcones 1 and well worth the 50ish i paid for it.
