I really tend to like toasted barrel products, so it's one of my favorites, but I can see how a lot wouldn't care of it. I can especially see proof heads hating it. I could've gotten some BP last week at the distillery, but they only had B23, so I passed.

I did get a couple bottles of Henry McKenna that I've never been able to snag before. At the tasting they said it was the exact same recipe as EW BiB, but aged 10+ years vs. the 4 that EW gets.

I'd say typically the HH BiB, ECTB, ECBP have all been in a starter allocated field somewhat like Blanton's, ER, and EHT. Not incredible products (though I personally like them all), and IMO not worth secondary prices, but at retail, they're all a solid buy for me. Though I'm cheap and ECBP & Blanton's are at about my typical limit.

For $125, it better be! I got 2 of them

ECBP and LBP have been trending down toward $80 secondary recently, I wouldn't go more than that

That is what I paid today, which is a little high. wmitchell is right, the MSRP is $70. If you pick one up at that price, I don't think you will be disappointed.

At their distillery they had it for $79, which is why I passed on it.

IMO ECBP is only not worth $100 because you can find it for less if you look. Compared to secondary prices for other BP products and the quality of what you get ECBP is so worth 70 - 100 if you are drinking it.

I've been looking for one for a while now and haven't had any luck finding one in the wild in Houston.

Has anyone had any Amburana finished bourbon/ryes?

A buddy of mine is bringing me a Rare Character amburana rye from AZ and I can't wait to try it.

They're pretty polarizing it seems. I haven't really fallen in love with it, but a couple buddies can't get enough.

That ECBP C922 batch is oh so delicious. Strong flavor of vanilla and marshmallow.

I surprisingly found one last night for $85 + tax. However was a little ticked when charged with a 3.5% credit card fee without being told. But this batch is worth it

Well, down to one bottle of RC spanish oak after tonight, time to go reload before it's too late!

I don't know the recipes by heart, but I can tell you I've never had a Four Roses SiB BS I didn't like. Nice find!

At the Dallas drop, one woman went outside to change blouses and went back in.

Another guy just went back in at the end and the staff wasn't going to fight him. But they were at least trying to keep it to 1 per person. Some people just suck.

I have seen plenty of 2x when something big drops around but 8x and at least 5x. I know these people hit multiple stores and I am sure if they really enforced key club (and double checked recent purchases), you could easily use multiple phone numbers. Maybe I am just nave and they always find 4-8 bottles between stores and only trade a few at a time.
