I finally opened up a B521 that my wife grabbed for me in Tennessee, not a great experience on the neck pour. I'm hoping this will improve, she was pretty bummed on my reaction .

What's the better pour, SFTB or the Blanton's gold?

I had the gold a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it, but I've not tried the SFTB.

Pretty common here in VA. Had a private barrel selection sit for about 3 hours after release on the shelf a week or so ago at $85 and was plenty of stock in the drop yesterday at $75 when i showed up ( ETL, EHT, and Stagg jr were all gone fast.)

I think the price is high enough at this point people are just starting to pass on it.

IMHO LCBP surpassed ECBP in 2021. I think they are priced about right and funny enough I find private barrels priced under standard release.

I am a HH fan. I pass at the price if I don't have one or have to fly with it. But I think it is fair.

1. C922
2. A123
3. B522

For my tastes the C922 is excellent. Won first place by a big margin. A123 is good. Would definitely buy again. Did not like B522 at all. Would not buy again.

Yeah, I saw some Booker's in the CS TW on Saturday. They probably had 5-6 on the shelf - I think they were like $124 each and were the Apprentice Batch, which I heard was not that great. Easy pass for me!
