Hated it on first pour, but came back a couple weeks later after some air and thought it was fantastic.

When those first came out they had a cask version which I loved. The 115 is good but it's priced a bit high IMO. I haven't gone back to it.

I think it's all personal preference. I personally like Es over Bs on the mashbill, but I have an OBSQ that's bonkers. Pick it up an try it.

Trades for more than that if you can find someone. $250 is basically retail for those, and they can go from 450-900 typically depending on age and proof.

Also assuming it's not the black bottle purple top, which is not worth much more than retail currently

Stored a little high proof scotch in a container with a plastic lid. Mistake. The high ABV seems to have burned off some of the plastic and the whole sample smells off.

I know it's been discussed here before. What do y'all use for storage long term for small pours?

My son accidentally spilled my RC Spanish oak on our dining room table (it was family game night and he was reaching for the dice). I can't believe it, I cleaned it up right away but it still damaged the finish. Thankfully there wasn't much left in my glass lol.

Willett's own distillate tastes like fireball and wet hay. All their sourced stuff is phenomenal and they made their name on that, but the stuff that's going into these purple tops now is absolute trash by comparison.

Thanks for the info y'all. My biggest worry is corrosion of the lids over time. Would be nice to travel with, but main purpose would probably be longer term storage of last couple pours of a bottle here and there.
