I would never pay anywhere close to that. It's great juice, but not $800 juice.

I'd go after some OWA NCF Store Picks. Those usually are better than ORVW and a fraction of the price on secondary.

I've had the Moonshine pick and liquor depot pick out of Kentucky. I've blinded both with ORVW and it beats it every time.

That is how i see it. That being said if someone wants to buy it as a collectible to show of to thier friends im good with that but there is no way it is worth that much to drink where there are so many good ones out there for less that 10% of that price. go to a bar try it buy a bottle of something you like and save yourself 700 bucks.

Today was the Single Barrel pick drop in VA with stores getting a random selection of stuff with the ECBP pick being the most desireable. I decided to pass since it is cold af andi didn't want to wait outside to see if my store got it (they did). There was another drop this afternoon of Eagle Rare (1.75), Blantons, and Bookers. Went ahead and got the ER since im trying to stick to the drink what i buy mantra this year and i've already got a stockpile of Blantons and never really liked Bookers for what they want for it these days.

Has anyone had the Stranhan's Single Barrel Cask Strength? They had a pick on that is well that i debated buying to try it out.

What's not in Texas? ER 1.75? Spec's gets them every so often.

All the 750 went to allocation by 2020.

It was such a no brainer buy at $30.

was 64.99 + tax. VA is fortunate in that we get a pretty healthy allocation for a lot of the Sazerac products, execpt for EH Taylor for whatever reason.

Fun to see all our favorite bourbons at a bar. Had lunch at Ginger & Fork on Shepherd south of 10.

$20 cocktail is pretty absurd for Houston

I'm a big AE fan so my answer is yes.

Wonder how much of it is counterfeit? Always makes me wonder when I go to NYC and some shop has a crazy bourbon selection that you rarely see anywhere else. It would be fun to put to lab testing on some of this juice.

TABC would like to hear about that I'm sure, especially the fake TABC stickers on the bottles from their distributor. I guess they could buy one bottle of Pappy and fill it up with old Grandad in the back. I think some folks would figure that out.

ill bet a store could get away with it for a long time, especially if fill they bottle with something that is going to have a similar profile. I would not be shocked if that was going on at all.
