I'm having the last of my WP10 120.1 Specs pick tonight. I wish I had another of these stuck back. I know of a few Specs that still have some barrel picks, so I may see if I can find one. If I can't, are there any other good barrel proof ryes out there other than Peerless, KO, or THH?

There are at least three Specs barrels. If I can't find another 120.1 I'll try one of the others unless there is another option BP rye option out there that's not one of the three I mentioned. I may even try Peerless, but I've never seen KO in the wild.

I have really enjoyed all the specs store pick WP's. At like $3 more than standard 10yr it seems like a good deal, even though it is still an expensive bottle.

If you see any of the willet ryes they are barrel proof and pretty dang good as well. Michters barrel proof rye is good, as is pikesville.

So had some Willett 13,14,15 yr and a 9 yr rye 1 oz each and also some SAOS 10 yr store picks - 4 different ones. I'd say I liked the Willett 15 yr best but after that the SAOS picks were all better than the rest. Oddly enough a 86proof SAOS was my number 2. I normally like the higher proof stuff. But goes to show that the higher dollar stuff might not always hit your palate better.

One of my favorite things I can remember drinking was a SAOS rye barrel proof store pick. They stopped doing it a few years back and I have been mad at myself ever since that I didn't stock up on 20 bottles.

I found a C917 in December here. Haven't seen the A118 yet either in B/CS but know it's been other places in the state.

They're export only not just in duty free shops so you may want to shop around if you have time wherever you are visiting
