That's fair, but not gonna get me to drink it. I drank WAY atop much SAOS 11 year single barel last night. Picked it up yesterday. Sitting in the blind wishing I hadn't, but it's amazing

Not only is the bourbon market tight, now there are secret side deals. WTF?!
I'll trade a GTS for a Thomas Handy if anyone wants that deal.
You have the stagg or Handy?
I have a GTS for trade. Sorry for the ambiguity.
That's what I thought I just wanted to make sure. I will take you up on that. I'm in Austin as well so we can do an in-person handoff. I will send you a pm to work it out
Damn good trade for the dude, I'd have taken that as well.
I can do it twice. The Dude gets the choice on the 2016 or 2017. You can have the other.
Let me know, I really Love Handy as well. Those are my two favorites but I got 4 Handy's and three GTS this year and GYS is my tops. Not a huge fan of the '16 hazmat tho, I've got one and it's too hot for me. If it's the '17 I'm probably in

Late to the thread but picked up a 2017 William Larue Wellers for $100 and after some research I see it selling for $600-$900/ bottle. Seems to be super rare and now I don't want to open it. Anyone ever had it? Is it worth the special occasion im now putting on it?

I almost never drink proofed bourbon. Drinking ETL right now and not enjoying it. I look for barrel proof bourbons and ryes exclusively.
Stagg, Jr., Bookers, etc. barrel proof ryes are a challenge.

It's crazy to look back at the progression of things that are "allocated" and so hard to find now that used to be so readily available. I remember when RHF sat on the shelf. I could got to any number of 4-5 stores that would have several on the shelf at any point in time. Same thing for W12. Heck back in 2012 I left an ORVW squat bottle on the shelf because I had a couple and wanted to leave it for someone else. Wonder if the market will ever level out? Doesn't seem to be. More people drinking bourbon and only so much of the older and allocated bourbons. Simple supply and demand economics I suppose.
