I thought last years BTAC was a Debbie downer compared to the 2012 releases besides THH which has been solid just about every year. Saz 18 has been the same tanked juice for 7 years now, WLW was just plain hot, and GTS was forgettable. ER17 is simply a very good $70 bottle of whiskey. Hoping BT can get it right in '14.

I would be beyond shocked if you found GTS. It's a one time a year release (October) and it's quickly snatched up or committed to those on lists.

I didn't. Stumbled upon the 21yr at Specs a few years ago and really liked it. This one I bought on the gray market. Not as good a value, but still worth it.

Larceny is a good everyday, but it's rise in popularity has been noticed by a number of stores in Dallas at least. Prices have gone up at good bit.

Enjoying a barrel aged Sazerac. Six weeks in the barrel and the flavors meld together very well, with the additional benefit of some nice smokiness. Also, it's super easy to make drinks now, since I just have to absinthe spray the glass, stir it with some ice and fire a lemon peel.

And I'm pretty sure you didn't get the Weller in WV. I've never seen Weller of any flavor in WV. I buy my Weller in MD.
