So I read that this years Woodford Master Collection is 123.6 proof and was released in February. Anyone found it yet?
I will sell you a Stagg Jr. or ECBP for $100John Francis Donaghy said:
I got a bottle of the Woodford Masters Keep last year and I really enjoyed it.
I'll take a different approach on pricing from most on this board and say it's priced appropriately. It's a very good, very flavorful, barrel proof bourbon. $109-$130 range sounds just about right. Hell, people are paying that for Weller 12 at this point. And the Masters Keep is 10 times the juice Weller 12 is, at least.
I wish more distilleries would price their bourbons appropriately. I'd much rather pay $300 to an actual store for a brand new bottle of a bourbon I want, than pay the same $300 to some slapdick on Facebook and hope he isn't swindling me with counterfeit bottle, or that he wasn't swindled when he got it from some other slapdick before flipping it to me.
At this point I would LOVE to see $100 MSRP on Stagg Jr. and ECBP, and $300 - $800 tags on BTAC. Just kill the secondary market insanity and price thing where they should be priced on the store shelves.
i'm seeing 1100-1300....I got rid of mine at 700 thinking it could get no higher. I still was able to keep a sample though. I'm seeing 330-420 for Abraham Bowman special releases I paid $70 for in 2016.third coast.. said:
Yea I'd like to sell my remaining bookers rye for the 1300 to 1500 I have heard it's going for.
Some dude on the DFW group (I know you're on it) sold 1 oz samples for $42 today...and everyone was saying how good of a deal it was. Must be good stuff!Wheatables02 said:i'm seeing 1100-1300....I got rid of mine at 700 thinking it could get no higher. I still was able to keep a sample though. If a 750 is approx 25 ounces, then thats around $1050 for the bottle without using a calculator.....damn. I bought two when it released in Oklahoma at $350 a piece and drank one. I thought I was ripped off then.agcrock2005 said:Some dude on the DFW group (I know you're on it) sold 1 oz samples for $42 today...and everyone was saying how good of a deal it was. Booker's Rye is one of the best pours I've ever had, but there is no way I could spend that on a bottle. I haven't seen it in a bar in a while. Last time was at Reserve 101, and it was $100 a pour.

Actually I think I have a couple ounces left in my bottle but I'm not gonna drink it anytime soon. Hell, I've got over a year sober at this point.
