Stopped by a random Twin to look around. The guy in front of me bought a packaged/bundled deal of Weller 12 and a bottle of wine for $70. He just wanted the 12 I'm sure. $70 is steep for that. I don't know if it was decent wine tho. He neglected to also purchase the EHT Single Barrel which I promptly snatched up.

Is Cream of Kentucky on the same marketing plan as Garrison Brothers...i.e. produce an average to slightly above average bourbon but charge triple the going rate and call it "premium"???

Except it's sourced and actually aged.

CoK is what Jim Rutledge is working on since he left Four Roses. They're sourcing and releasing aged whiskey for now while they get the distillery up and running.

It's very "smooth" and sweet. Which some people LOVE. It used to be my favorite bourbon.

But once you get accustomed to higher end, bolder, fuller flavored, bourbons, it starts to seem very underwhelming and boring in comparison.

So, basically, you may love it. You may have a glass and start reaching for something else. Only one way to find out. Have fun.

The McKenna 10 is a rye correct? I don't have anything worth a flip to trade, but def hope I can try that one sometime.
