Anyone here have any experience with international trading? I'm looking at the Toronto Facebook groups to see if I can get someone up there willing to trade from the brewery I posted eariler for TX beers, but I've never done an international trade. Also, if I can figure this out I'll probably have some extras to throw around as I'd want to maximize trade size given the effort required.

Busting out some older stuff that I've been needing to drink through. An oldish (2013?) Hopworks Belgian-style Abbey Ale. Its probably past it's prime, but it's still tasty.
I bought some beers from a guy in Toronto a couple years ago off MBC. He said the shipping was never a problem, and it went smoothly.
Swung by The Bruery's DC bottle shop today and picked up a number of good hazy IPAs. Double Fist Bump is a collab with Pinthouse Pizza in Austin. I've never had a Pinthouse beer, but this one is very good. It tastes very clearly like an Offshoot beer though.
They have a bottle shop in DC? Is this new? Need to go by there on my next trip.
I think it's been here for a year or so. They still won't allow Offshoot release orders outside of CA, but you can pick them up at the shop a few weeks after the release when they get their shipment.
No onsite drinking though, despite them having kegs to fill crowlers. Odd liquor laws I guess.

Anyone go through the GABF results yet? Anything of note orsurprising? I haven't gone through everything personally but did hear one of the local breweries here took home a silver for a hazy ipa category. Little surprised as I've personally been pretty underwhelmed by this brewery.

We aren't getting to the lot very early these days so hoping Pwonk or someone can host. Could probably host for an hour or so in a pinch.

Fun beer related family history I had forgotten about until my nephew was doing some research for a school genealogy project. My great grandfather worked at the Heileman brewery in LaCrosse, WI I think his entire life. He literally died walking home from work in the 50s. Heileman was the brewer of Old Style beer but acquired a bunch other smaller local and regional brewers to grow to be the 4th or 5th largest brewer in the country as of the early 80s.

Plenty, but I have a small arsenal on reserve for any time it drops below 100 degrees.
Tried full grown jack. Spice overload. I'll finish this one, but the other three are getting pawned off on relatives in Wisconsin.
