La Cave Bulles was the best bottle shop I came across in Paris. It's just outside of Le Marais.

Even though we're just renting, this is both me and my fiance's first true house. This afternoon I had my first own backyard beer, ever. It was a pretty great feeling.

Heading to the middle of nowhere Ohio for a race. Anything fairly readily available, but local, that I should be looking for. I'm planning on consuming many beers Sunday night.

Hoppin Frog, Jackie O's, and The Brew Kettle are the only ones I can think of. I would guess they can be found at most stores. But idk.

Do you still have any of your quads left-over from previous 100 milers?

Was there a couple months ago.

Fat Head IPAs are solid and available all over the place.

Columbus brewing makes some fantastic IPAs, especially Bodhi and Creeper (latter my favorite beer of the trip)

Rhinegeist also fairly available and makes good stuff.


Also,, not sure how middle-of-nowhere, but we had a drive that took us close enough to Canton that we stopped at the Pro Football HoF. I highly highly recommend checking it out if you have time. Definitely worth the stop

Bunker Hill HEB has Houston Haze

What's it take for me to get a good representation of the current Houston beer scene? Back when I was there Karbach was king, St Arnold's was putting out some good stuff at the top end, and there were some other up and comers. I don't think Spindletap was around yet. Definitely no hazy stuff then.

If someone wants to set me up with a Houston box, I can return a West Coast sampler.

I'll send you these if you want. I can only drink one anyways. I tried to get some for you brewery direct on the last go-around but the signup lasted about half a second.

The eclipse variants have been an interesting shelf turd. Still a ton of all of the variants at my specs. I suppose just way over priced?

Yup pretty sure that's the reason, good but when there's a lot of barrel aged stuff out there that's cheaper. The vanilla is the only one I'd crack my wallet open for tbh.

ok Hoolihoos ... Were headed to Beaver Creek, CO for a week starting Friday (not like im counting the days or anything)

ive layed way off beer for a while now but will probably get in to some Colorado tasties when in Rome. Were pretty much flying into Denver and beelining to Beaver Creek, but will be hitting Breckenridge for a day, then staying 1 night in Denver before heading home.

Any local shops up in the mountians near AVon/Vail/Breck wroth hitting? And i know asking about best brewery in Denver is a million to one, but if you had to pick 1 or 2 what would they be, or should i just go somewhere like Falling Rock for the night and just get nasty with it?
