Yeah just because of the lower bottle numbers most likely. Last year the scotch one was the hot one was dark lord day because of the lower bottle.count but then people realized it sucked. Handjee already started to come back up from it's inital dip. Had last year's chemtrailmix a couple times and loved it but it's no handjee.

Wife and I made it back from a few days in Boston and southern Maine. Brewery stops included Trillium, Night Shift, Portsmouth, Liquid Riot. We skipped out on a few other Portland area breweries to spend the afternoon on the beach.



And the final haul that made it home.

I thought last year's Chemtrailmix was amazing, but that was the first and only DL variant I tried. Handjee must on a whole other level.

Picked up a sixer of Community Mosaic. It is a strong handed IPA...the 8.6% is noticeable, but they do a good job of balancing it out flavor wise. It is great to come around again to some Texas beers.

Side note, I also got a sixer of that Live Oak Grodziskie beer, the light smoked table beer as they call it. It is pretty crisp and easy drinking.

Nothing around the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, but Trapezium Brewing in Petersburg was putting out some really good beers when I was there about a month ago.
