I had that one on draft and it was so salty I couldn't drink it. How salty is it?

No. he's talking about Mexican Cannon and I was with him when he got it. It was salty and sour as hell, but I was definitely still a fan. One and I'm done though.

Just noticed the "develops in the bottle for up to 5 years" statement is still on the label of the 16 BCBSs. Wonder how that works with the pasteurization
Stouts will still develop a lot of flavors from malts and oxidation despite pasteurization. Its wild ales that suffer the most because all the live yeast and bacteria are killed.
All of the Deschutes beers are flash pasteurized

Update on College Bowl LIF...
Currently at 19 entries. Still don't know who IronRed or Irrital Bowl Syndrome are. If I don't know who you are by the first game you get the boot. Still plenty of time to sign up, instructions on page 1086. Will likely be some Project Dank or other various La Cumbre in your box...

You could probably trade your KBBS for one.
