Interestingly, the response from the beer guy when I asked about coffee BCBS: we only got a couple bottles because we don't buy Bud light here.

It seems like the longer that cycle goes on with individual barrels the more flavor each aging would impart on the whiskey or beer.


So it could be like inception for the barrel and theoretically be:

Whiskey
Stout
Whiskey

Hey beer threaders... It's that special time of year when we all sit around and watch 40 meaningless bowl games. Nothing could make this time of year better right...? What about free beer?

I've created a group through ESPN for their college bowl mania. Steps to sign up:

If you have the most points after all the bowl games are over you win a box of beer from me. That's awesome. I'm registering, but would defer to the next behind me.
(Not that there's much of a risk of me winning - I'd do better asking my kids to pick.)
My beer drinking has slowed way down and I've got a full beer stash at the moment.
On the upside, I've got some decent stuff to chip in to March Madness
