Interestingly, the response from the beer guy when I asked about coffee BCBS: we only got a couple bottles because we don't buy Bud light here.
Looks like Regal, Barleywine, and BCBS are all still available at the Total Wine in Austin on Brodie...

It seems like the longer that cycle goes on with individual barrels the more flavor each aging would impart on the whiskey or beer.
So it could be like inception for the barrel and theoretically be:
Whiskey
Stout
Whiskey
Stout
Damn. My dog breeder (who likes good beer too) lives near there but she's out of town this weekend.

Love the idea. We should do something similar to this and the MM pick em but instead keep it low key and send only locals. Just so folks can try other stuff and we don't have to let go of our whalez
