My cousin called a friend in Austin before he came out to the bachelor party and picked me up a 4 pack of Professor Black. I really enjoyed the one I had last night. I also picked up a bottle of Texian Black Jesus yesterday. It's a sour dark ale aged with cherries. Looking forward to trying it out.

I think it tastes like a Gose. It is a great beer light crisp, but has that salty richness. If you like JK then you should like this one. It has that same JK funky farm house as with most of their beers I have had. I do not specifically taste the mushroom, I think it blends in with all of the other favors but would be missed if you tasted a batch without the mushroom.

With my sister graduated and now in Memphis, along with most of her friends, we're taking a step back from tailgating. My parents are also a little burned out with having to be there on Friday to claim the spot, and all the guys are a bit tired of loading and breaking everything down. All that combined with getting bumped to E has led to us deciding to spend more time at the house in Welborn. We're just going to drive in about 2.5 hours before kickoff. Our priority ranking is close to getting us back in H so hopefully we'll cross that threshold in the next couple years and then start tailgating again over there.

This is good chit. Like ***** Wagon on steroids but not too bitter and dry hopping was on point. It took em a bit, but Brash has their IPAs dialed in now. I could have drank more, but I had to try Abide and then rushed out because humidity.

Has anyone else noticed Yellow Rose being way different from batch to batch on draft? The last two pints I had were really weak. Wonder if they were old kegs. Just seems like one of those beers that will blow me away at one place and suck at the next.

I have noticed this as well. Have talked to multiple grolwer places that have said they have sent kegs back recently due to tasting off. I get a sample now everytime before I get a fill to make sure it tastes right.
