Holy ****, the DDG release just got worse, if that was possible. The last thing they tried actually oversold the bottle allotment by double. Now they have to refund the whole sale and try again next week. LOL.

LOL. Just put up a lottery form and keep it open for a few days. Then select people and have them pay for bottles when they pick them up.

That is Cigar City level of fail. On a positive note, finally getting caught up from a relatively rushed drive from Montana back to Tx.
In 5 days we saw a lot of beautiful country a drank some great beers. Best beer of the trip was coconut medianoche compliments of norcolag at weldwerks.

Damn 5 days? That's a rush of a trip.

Had a blast with you guys the other night. How did yalls Thursday shake out?

Had a Hop Stoopid for the first time in about 5 years tonight. I still remembered the slogan 102 ibu 4 u.
Then busted open a 2013 Avery beast grand cru. God that's a complex beer. 18% abv.

I don't know if EventBrite crashed or not, but I think the real reason for the cancellations is that they set up the order limits wrong.

It was asking you to pick how many bottles you wanted to pick up on Sat and then again on Sun for every order. Lots of people probably picked 6 bottles for each day. I know the guy ordering for me did.

Since the site encouraged 12 bottle orders, it wouldn't be right to cancel just those. I kind of get cancelling every order as the fairest thing, but they don't seem to be owning their mistake.

I'd like to say I will boycott them for this, but that isn't true. I'll be back frantically refreshing the page whenever they attempt this clusterf$ck again.

BTW if aanyone is in Greeley looking for dinner, norcol can recommend a place that sells rediculous sandwiches. I had a bacon, Mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, French fries, and buffalo ranch sand which to soak up the beer from weldwerks and Wileyroots.

Altitude, grease, and beer took its toll on us. We made it a few miles on a trail around longs peak in Estes that morning. Then we punished our bodies more with more beer and hot fried chicken at Post. Great rec and amazing sides. Unfortunately we didn't hit any more breweries after that because we met up with another buddy that evening. I need another 4 days to hit the all the beer sites in the area.

Anyone going to JK weekend that could grab me a magnum of petite?

Correct. the mad cow from fat shack and it was awesome.

Went to a new bottle shop/growler station in Webster today. Really cool little place that you can sit down and have a beer and get a growler or grab some bottles to go. His prices are comparible to HEB and specs.

My reaction to the Beer thread right now

Had one of my juicy bits crowlers tonight while watching the sun set over Hayden lake in ID
