Also - they say to age already purchased bottles on their side (?), any reason for that? I only ask because it's contrary to the usual wisdom for beer aging.

Maybe the greater surface area in the bottle for the liquid to be exposed to? Maybe there isn't risk of messing with the cap with what's in there?

Also, if it is just a few months, I don't think that'll be long enough to screw up the beer with the metal lid. That liner material should stay intact for that amount of time, I would think.

Good beer, I usually pick up a six pack of Color Blind to drink during the week. I was disappointed the last time I was there because they took their chocolate milk stout off tap since they're almost out. I'll be looking for when it comes back on tap!

I didn't realize Wicked Weed was coming to Texas!
I looked for their beers at Total Wine in Raleigh when I was there a month ago and didn't find any.
I did find a Tart of Darkness hidden behind other bottles for a mentee of mine.

Holy smokes. This is good stuff. Apricot is heavy but the sour is very subtle. Incredible beer.
