I don't remember what I paid for that Prairie Noir I drank last night, but it was worth it.

I looked at mine after you said yours was good but mine is a wine barrel noir. I guess it's different...

I've lost track at how many "noir" and "bomb" beers Prairie has made. They're all pretty damn good though.

Oh tht sucks. Wine Noir is nowhere near as good as regular Noir in whiskey barrels.

Did anybody try the Rahr Winter Warmer? It's about the only thing left I can find that was aged in Bourbon Barrels.

I had it about a month ago. Can't remember much of the taste but I enjoyed it.

Bomb is like 5 bucks in OK...

I'll buy Bomb and Pirate Bomb... Everything else I've had from Prairie ain't worth the price. But as long as neckbeards keep losing their **** for $12 Brimstone Bomb, they'll keep charging it.

I was fortunate enough to meet up with La Fours tonight and drink a SARA Bright Sea Blonde. Holy geez I wanted to lick it.

I wanted to put my dick in it. But we were out in public.

Also, BSD, thanks again, for the 100th time. Those SARA guys know what they are doing. The beer was awesome.

yeh really. I would never pour that whole thing at once! Half, and cap it.

I guess that photo is deceiving because it's only a 12 oz.

I'm speaking more to the fullness of the glass. I'd pour it about half way full to give the aromas space to do their work.

I was referring to both. I like to swirl a beer like that, get the head and aromas aroused like BSD said.
But also, I wouldn't want 12oz of 15% in one pour. You'd never get that much quantity in a bar. 6-8oz, same reasons.

Anybody at the vail big beers?

Busted out a couple of my more special ones today. Call me crazy, but somehow the heat of the 2014 mixes well with the flavors and I think I prefer it over the aged 2013. The 2013 is certainly smoother, but the heat of the 2014 makes it almost like a bourbon soaked fudge and I think I really dig it.

Just glad my sister was able to come over so I could justify opening both at the same time.

and now, to realize the sad truth is that I no longer have anymore BCBS

Damn that came fast. I went last year, had a blast. Will probably start to go again for future years. Definitely helps my aunt and uncle have a place there, and my uncle always volunteers so I joined up last year and paid half price.
