Just picked up the swingline looking forward to it. Now I just have to be careful and not drink too much adjunct before 4. Also might have a buddy from Austin coming in, anything I should have him look for that wouldn't be too hard to find? He doesn't know about a lot of the smaller breweries there as he just started grad school this semester.

4pm bottle share would work for me as well. I can bring some nice bottles as well.

4 is fine with me as well... I usually head for the stadium around an hour before kickoff. So, I'll hang until 7 ish.

In regards to easily accessible beers in Austin. Wet Hop Heavy Machinery is about to drop. Honestly one of my favorite ABW beers or Austin beer for that matter. A 6 pack of Zoe is always an excellent choice as well. Adelberts pumps out some solid Belgians too if that's your thing...

Edit... Forgot that JK Noble King is hanging around a few places as well. Not sure how much is still around, though.

Can someone give a quick rundown of how the lines are for the more popular bottle releases? Is there ever a time where there isn't a long line?

Ok, 4pm it is for official opening. Everyone is welcome. No worries if you cant bring anything "rare" or "cool" just bring something new and have a good time.

I'll be there much earlier than 4 so anyone is welcome to come early and hang out. I'm not sure what's on the menu for food, but I'll have plenty of water and cups. I'll also have an empty cooler with ice for bottles, but try and bring them as cold as possible.

Had some Prairie Cherry Funk tonight thanks to this thread. Is good.

Dude, no worries on that. Noir is solid. I really liked it.

And I am sad that I will miss this bottle share. I'll be in Port Aransas for a family reunion. When grandma calls, you come running. Plus she's footing the bill for the ginormous beach house. I hope the rain cooperates and I can do some fishing.

P-wonk, be sure to bring back some great wine/great beer to share. It's a nice little beer that doesn't see a lot of action out this way since it's only made during grape harvest.

The new Whole Foods in Highland Village opened yesterday, so the wife and I drove over after dinner to check out their beer selection and bar. Not bad. 12 taps at the bar, and had some good stuff on tap. Got to try the Cherry Funk and Pumking. Hopefully they rotate the beers out pretty often.

I'll bring a couple of JK beers to the share Saturday. For sure a Batch 1 RU55 (has about 3 years on it) and another JK beer from my cellar. Scriffer... I'll be bringing your Fen Tao along as well. ABW Wet Hop should be hitting any day now, so I'll bring a few cans of that if I can get it before Saturday.

Love me some New Glarus...I try to make excuses to go up to WI just to bring back New Glarus. Their fruit beers are quite an experience. Still got one I'm holding on to as long as possible.

For you west coast guys, go get a Track 7 Panic IPA. Agressively hopped like an arrogant *******, but really fruity and dank up front like a Sculpin. Really well balanced

Solid haul. Tough to beat FW, 3 Floyd's, and New Glarus.

Had some Cherry Funk on tap today, pretty good stuff.

Dreadnaught is a great beer. I have fond memories of passing out at Kuma's Corner while trying to finish a bomber after drinking BCBS all night. Actually, I don't remember much except trying to get a roadie of it for the cab ride home.

Love new glarus. Hate their fruit beers, but it's the style, not the brewery. Just don't like those styles. Al their other beers are outstanding.

Got my mitts on some growlers of good stuff tonight. Should make the bottle share nice and boozy.

Where did you find those Firestone's LaFours?

I haven't seen those particular ones for sale anywhere online lately.

This one was set up for noobs like me in trading and beer it forwards. My sender is a guy from Chicago. He used my untapped wish list to pick the beers he sent me. So those FSW's were from his cellar.

I'm super excited about the NG beers. I've had their year round offerings and really liked them. I can't wait to crack these open.
