They are tasting pretty great. Fruit is fading but the diacetyl hasn't been present in any bottled I've opened recently. Of course, those two bottles will probably suck

No sweat. It's just a well made beer, well balanced beer. I figured it would be a good bottle share beer since not too many people see it outside California. I don't think I mentioned it until the morning after you were there anyways. I'll grab a bottle next year, or have someone send some for a November bottle share.

I really liked it. It certainly isn't your typical JK fruited sour (Atrial, Nocturn). It's got a lot more funk going on and less of a fruit presence. The peach on the nose is phenomenal, but kinda fades into the beer at first sip. That bottles to go line was outta control, though (even in the rain). Not sure if this makes it through the weekend...

Good deal, I don't feel so bad now about missing the crowd. I'll be passing through town 9/27 maybe I'll get lucky and there will be some left, not getting my hopes up though.
In the meantime...this isn't that great after a year

I really can't name one F.U.N. Series bottle that hasn't aged poorly. I tried an 005 the other week and couldn't finish the bottle.

I've had great results on the fun beers I've held on to. I drank an original frageelay last Christmas Eve. It was excellent. I have 6, 9, and 10 in the cellar. I have an 11 I'm going to share with friends this week.
