Let's Duet ... Together



Tine HEB has the full spread of Alpines, finally. Picked up a couple Nelson, Duet & Hoppy birthdays

Good haul tonight. BdBdB was excellent on tap.

No shortage at the brewery. Picked up my year's supply of each.

If anyone is in a beer shipping state, Craftshack has both with no limits as well.

Haven't had that double ******* rye but saw it at Central Market earlier today. Didn't have a price tag on it so figured I'd get it at Heights Kroger instead another time. Any good?

Yes, staying in Grapevine. Willing to do some driving around and have the time if there are other ships worth visitng.

Stopped at LUCK over by Four Corners Brewing for some lunch and Aggie football. Had my first Mole and French Quarter Temptresses and really liked the latter quite a bit. Also took the advice on Community Mosaic and liked it quite a bit as well. Got one of the Collective sours (blueberry) as part of a flight and really liked that too. Going to have to see how this Aggie game ends to see how I feel about squeezing in a trip to Collective before the wedding I'm going to.

Solid.

Drinking a La Vie en Rose. I actually like it better than Atrial, and it's a lot easier to come by.

Made it to The Collective Brewing Project and was really impressed by both the beer and the setup there. The taproom is laid out seamlessly within the various French, Hungarian, and other oak barrels, as well as the rest of the brewhouse, lab, and keg storage. Started with their brett-fermented fresh hop IPA (solid), continued with their barrel aged brett amber sour, and finished up with their 1yr anniversary beer, the American red sour (of which I also bought a 500ml bottle). All in all a nice day of drinking prior to this wedding I'm now at.

Walked into a random bar in Venice Beach because it looked cool. Top of the menu was Pliny bottles. Lots of Bruery stuff too. My new favorite beer bar when I'm in LA - otherroom.

How is the hoppy birthday compared to their others?

La Fours, is that beer worth trading an Aurilean Lure for in your opinion. Someone offered me a list and that beer was on it? Figured it was probably worth a try at tasting.
