Hahahaha yes that would be him. He used to do that all the time until Jeff pulled him aside and asked him to stop. He is really cool with Jeff so it wasn't a huge deal and he stopped doing it immediately after they asked him. It still probably had something to do with the stricter rules now though. He mules a lot for me so I can't really complain

Went to Weldwerks for the brewers surprise birthday party. Had four pints. Now cellar cleaning. Ironically this is a collaboration beer. This one is courtesy of turfman from about 2 years back. Really mellowed and blended together versus fresh. Alcohol heat and the fresh "spice" has been brought in balance with bourbon, oak, and some mild fruit esters.

Does SD Toro allow for to-go bottles? I tried to get a T25 out a few years ago and they wouldnt let me. I had to drink it there a the bar, along with a T20, a Pliny, and some Societe. After all that, the zoo that afternoon was entertaining to say the least.

But yeah, count me in as wanting more Cable Car. It's a very nice beer.

Yeah I plan on stopping in for a glass or two. I preordered a growler of BCBS last week so if it's to much of a cluster I'll still be able to walk out happy.

no kidding. I get a lot of freedom with my job but I just don't want to stand in a 3 hour line.

For those there...Ask those guys if they want to sell their Vanillas. I'm a buyer. If I can get two, one comes to a bottle share this fall.

If the wifi signal at Blacksmith is strong enough, I could probably work from my spot in line. I just don't want to stand in line either.

That being said, someone pick me up one of each of the barrel aged wild ales, and I'll figure out some way to make it worth your while.

Hay Merchant some place I have never heard of before in the BCS area?

New to thread. Started getting more into the good stuff back in the fall. Was always more of a spur of the moment kind of deal over the years, but since the start of November it's safe to say I've been obsessed with beer.

I'll be around this thread for a while.

I know they were selling two per person yesterday at $85 a bottle but it was a $150 ticketed event just to get in the door.

If they are selling them to the public today and you are able to grab a bottle I will definatley make it worth your while in either beer or $$$

I can't get them to answer the phone to confirm if they have any left. I'm going after work anyway with my gf just to check, so if they are still selling we'll try to get 4.

I saw something that made it sound like the ToGo bottles were only available at yesterday's event, so I may just have to crack open a bottle at the bar. I'll let you know later on.

I was #12 or so in line, and got the last Vanilla. They ran out pretty quick.
