I might head up there later today. Hopefully people with normal jobs keep the Vanilla Rye from selling out.
For real Henny. I am going to go up there soon on my lunch break, but the guy said he didn't expect it to last more than a couple hours.

Well sorry guys I'm out of luck on the Vanilla Rye. They sold out in less than an hour unfortunately before I could take my lunch break. Too many neckbeards sitting on their couch during the day I guess...
Someone posted in to the TLTCB facebook page...I'm guessing the hornets nest was stirred up then. Hall's is enough of a ****storm without someone posting it in that group.

Ahhh that would make sense. And yeah I normally try to avoid Hall's for that very reason. They're such a pain there.
One of the neck beards chipped one of the bottles of Vanilla Rye. I told the owner I would risk it but he wouldn't sell.
I did get abother 4 pack of BCBS though I might use to trade if I don't get thirsty first.

If anyone has a Vanilla for trade I can make it worth your while. Plus, I'll throw in an autographed copy of that legendary photo. If you're still on the fence I could be persuaded to part with the original label art created by Maca.
Going to Chicago for a few days. Any recommendations for me while I'm up there?
Please someone do this. I would do the trade if I had a bottle. To have a signed photo and the label in a frame would be epic. And would be present at all future bottle shares for the board.

This may have been lost in the NoColo shenanigans but I'll try to offer up a few ideas.
Bars:
Hopleaf
Map Room
Revolution Brewpub
Sheffields
(many of these bars have cellars...be sure to splurge and post here to make me feel inferior)
Breweries:
Three Floyds - METAL AS F*CK!! its an hour away but worth it. Go early so you can sober up enough to drive back.
Revolution brewery (separate from brewpub and in different part of town next to Kuma's...more on that later)
Half Acre - northside (across street from Bad Apple...a good burger with great beer list)
Empirical - not sure if they are open for tastings yet but reach out to them. they usually have some tasting event going on so check their facebook/twitter.
Restaurants:
Kuma's Corner - the original location. possibly the best burgers in the US. also metal as f*ck
Weiner's Circle - go after midnight on a weekend. get a chocolate shake. Trust me on this.
Alinea - fine dining. expensive but if you a foodie, it's a must
The Girl and the Goat - very good, on west side
Sixteen - at Trump Tower- good for lunch, great views
RPM Italian
Firecakes Donuts
Coffee for hangover:
Intellegistia - same coffee used in many stouts up there (BCBCS and Dark Lord)

Ft worth folks. In my search for BCBS the past few days (struck out btw) I've seen several cases of BA legion at arlington Total Wine and just now 3-4 bottles of Bomb at ft worth CM.
Thanks for the heads up Dave! Definitely have been looking to restock on the BA Legion as it is just such a good value for the price. Hopefully that turns into an every year staple for them.

If you pick up a 4 pack of the Legion I will trade you two bottles of BCBS for 2 bottles of the Legion. I'm BCBS rich but can't find any more of the Legion.
I live in Cleburne but I'm stuck working in Oklahoma until next Friday. I can get as much Bomb as anyone wants up here if they interested.
I haven't had Bomb yet but have one in the fridge. If you can get any other Prairie stuff (Pirate, Bible Belt, regular, coffee or vanilla Noir) then I'll work something out with you
Go for the Bible Belt. it is the best of the Prairie's that I have had
