Anyone in the Metroplex, well, in Fort Worth really, interested in taking some BCBS off my hands? I ended up with quite a bit and need to make some space in my beer fridge. 6 bottles. Having a firestone walker agrestic sour now. Very tasty. Def. an acquired taste. And one that can ruin your palate for the rest of the night.

Had the Agrestic on Saturday in a flight with Parabola, Sucaba, and XVII. Really enjoyed it... Just the right amount of sour and extremely smooth. It definetly held it's own against the other 3.

It was tough to figure out where to go after that. I found that a Stone Southern Charred was a good bridge back to normal beer.

Oh and that's not HF in that HF growler. It's Boiler Room. A friend bought a keg of it for his house and invited me over for some beers and told me to bring a growler for some Berliner Weisse.

After your Abyss "celebration" last year I wouldn't have been surprised if it was.

I opened one on Friday. Pretty solid. Nice and dark, lots of candied fruit flavors. Didn't pick up much of the barrel flavors though, but didn't mind. Will drink again.

This was pretty much my thoughts on the beer as well. I really liked it.

Man I wish I kept my Stoic. I had it back in, oh around 2011-2012.. I was still in tx so that's the only way I remember.

Would be cool to do that side by side with not the stoic. Are they gonna release stoic again ever?

I thought it was great. It's expensive but if you really like sours then I would say it's worth it. It's definitely very very sour.
