I have a bottle too. Guess I can let it sit longer.

Personally, I'd take RU55 over Dissident all day.

I had a really good beer the other night at Falling Rock in Denver.

It was listed on the menu as "Ska/Brash/Clown Shoes Skankin Dirty x2IPA. I'm generally not a huge fan of hoppy beers, but this was outstanding. I enjoyed it more than the Pliny the Elder I had that night.

First time trying this from a bottle. Actually like this better than when I've had it at the taproom. Pretty good if like your IPAs on the sweeter, more subdued side.

Me too. There was just something a little off about The Dissident. Plus I think I put the poooosy on a pedastal with that beer. I over hyped it in my head and it didn't live up to expectations.

Had a prairie ales funky galaxy tonight. Pretty different. It's a black, hopped farmhouse. IMO, pretty much was like a black ipa. Either way, pretty tasty. It's 8%, so combined with a couple DFH 60 min before hand, I got a pretty solid buzz.

Buhhhhh today sucks....

Because yesterday most certainly did not.

(I let little brother have his first sour. He enjoyed it.)

I'm going to be driving from Burleson to lake Buchanan (far northwest Austin), any good beer places to stop along that drive? Taking the 67 route. Edit: to purchase packaged beer, not a bar to drink.

Finally got a taste of bishops barrel 4. It was damn good. Then had a couple of glasses of Boxers Revenge. It was sooooo much better on tap than from the bottle. Ending the night with a Hopadillo.

Finally can stomach beer after last Saturday. Having an Avery Twenty. Not too shabby.

Also picked up a couple of Figaros and BBXXVs.

Sounds like Karbach is fixing to do another batch of Fresh Nuggs this year.

The smell. Can't even begin to describe...Fresh Nugz will be brewing less than 30 hours after these were picked!

FW Pale 31: I know this beer is easily accessible but I never had before. Definitely a fan, very easy drinking.

Sante Fe Oktoberfest: Solid Octoberfest beer. Not spectacular, but good fall beer

Had a Pumking on draft last night. Sad to say it, but I don't get the hype. Really wasn't impressed at all. Still got a bomber in the fridge and will certainly give it another shot when things get cooler.

Stopped in at Brews Brothers in Galveston with my wife yesterday.

We had a Great Divide Rumble (Oaked IPA), a Real Ale Full Moon Rye, a Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, and a Boulevard Nommo Dubbel.

Jock, I got your PM. Can't reply on the iPad for some reason. I'm flying out on Thursday as well. I'm on UA1288 departing at 3:45. Ill be at DIA around noon. I usually park at US Airport Parking. I can meet you there or at the terminal. I'm going to take the Swingline down with me instead of leaving it in the car all weekend.

Drinking a Real Ale Sisyphus. Meh. I don't know if I've lost my taste for barley wines, but as it warms, this one is too boozy for me...

Allright... I'm officially bringing a bottle of Atrial Rubicite to the Bama bottle share. I accept tips, manly fist bumps, & high fives as payment .

While on the subject... Are we making the bottle share BYOG (bring your own glass)?

That's awesome! I enjoyed the heck out of the Batch #2 that was on tap at the brewery, can't wait to see if Batch #1 is any different in the bottles.

On that note, can someone remind me details for the bottle share? Where's it at and what time are we starting?

I know we were shooting for Lot 61. Not sure if this is finalized yet... I can certainly volunteer to host as well. We tailgate right by the Clayton Williams Alumni Center.

I seem to recall NColoradoAG mentioning 7 - 7:30 ish on the time, but he'll have to confirm that.
